Statement: It is an honor to have been elected by the citizens of Gig Harbor to serve as your voice on our City Council! Just as I outlined during my campaign, I am committed to maintaining Gig Harbor’s unique character, forests, natural beauty and history.  As your member on the City Council, I will work to maintain our city services and infrastructure to meet the needs of our residents, including adding sidewalks and bike paths. I believe all our neighborhoods - whether you live in North Gig Harbor, Uptown or Downtown - should be walkable to shopping, dining, schools, and parks.

With my extensive engineering and project management experience and no financial ties to any businesses or special interests, I will make balanced decisions that;

  • Preserve our historic maritime character,
  • acknowledge & respect our Indigenous Peoples,
  • support a vibrant and economically healthy city,
  • will begin to mitigate and plan for global climate change,
  • and continue to make Gig Harbor a city worth bragging about!

As a member of the City Council, I promise to be transparent in all decision making and treat our hard-working city staff with the respect and civility they have earned.
