PERROW PIER, RAMP, FLOAT AND PILING | PL-SEPA-22-0007

The project will install a new residential pier, ramp, float and piling consisting of one 4’x40’ aluminum pier, one 4’x39’ aluminum pier, one 3’x44’ aluminum ramp with fiberglass grating, one 8’x24’ float with fully encapsulated polyethylene foam for floatation, 4 piling-mounted float stops, 4 8” galvanized steel pier pilings, and 4 10” galvanized steel float pilings.

 The project is within a fish and wildlife critical habitat area and will be  self-mitigating by removing a marine railway on parcel 226000521 (adjacent to the northeast). The marine railway has historically impeded the movement of sediments and vegetation along the shoreline and the removal of the railway will provide benefits to shoreline ecological quality and health in the long term.
