Summer Sounds Concert Series and Movies in the Park are back!

The City of Gig Harbor is celebrating the return of two of our much-loved summer traditions - Summer Sounds at Skansie and Movies in the Park at Sehmel Homestead Park.

Summer Sounds at Skansie, Gig Harbor's beloved summer concert series, happens each year on downtown Gig Harbor's waterfront at Skansie Brothers Park, in the shadow of Mount Rainer. This year TEN concerts span a variety of music and film genres that are sure to appeal to all audiences, happening each Tuesday night from 6:00-8:00p, through August 30, 2022.

New this year: Movies in the Park occur every Friday evening through the month of July, and will be hosted at Sehmel Homestead Park, with activities prior to the film and refreshments available for purchase.

Both events are generously sponsored by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health.
