City of Gig Harbor Planning Public Notices

[ARCHIVED] Notice of Determination of Nonsignificance Stormwater Source Control Program

PROPOSAL:

The proposal is a nonproject, legislative action initiated by the City of Gig Harbor to add ordinance language to Title 14 of the Gig Harbor Municipal Code. The ordinance will require implementation of source control best management practices to existing land uses and activities that generate pollution and discharge to the City stormwater system. The ordinance is a requirement outlined in the Department of Ecology’s Western Washington Phase II Municipal Permit.

 

NOTICE OF SEPA THRESHOLD DETERMINATION:  

After review of the environmental checklist and other information on file with the agency, the City of Gig Harbor has determined this proposal will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. A DNS has therefore been issued for this proposal.  A copy of the DNS, master planning application, and environmental checklist (Sections A, B and D) are enclosed for your review.

 

COMMENT DEADLINE:

The City of Gig Harbor will not act on this proposal for at least 14 days from the date of issuance of this notice. Comments must be received by no later than 5:00 PM on June 30, 2022 for consideration.
