Notice is hereby given that the City of Gig Harbor City Council is holding a public hearing to solicit community feedback on an amendment to Gig Harbor Municipal Code Section 17.14.020 “Land Use Matrix” to allow community recreation halls in the Waterfront Commercial District as a conditionally permitted use. You are invited to provide comment to the City Council at the hearing or in writing as outlined at the bottom of this notice.

Commenting:

All persons will have an opportunity to present their oral comments at the public hearing.  Those wishing to submit written comments may do so at the hearing or by submitting them to Peter Katich, Principal Planner, at the address below, or by e-mail at katichp@cityofgigharbor.net or by facsimile at (253) 853-7616.  All written comments must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2019. 

Information on the proposed amendment is available for public review Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the Community Development Department, located at 3510 Grandview Street in Gig Harbor, 253-851-6170.
