The City's Ancich Waterfront Park has quickly become a new attraction and is being enjoyed by many. The contractor has completed their work, though you may feel a "bump" in the roadway towards Novak Street as you drive towards the Park. The bump is actually the joint between the new roadway and the old roadway. Due to the rutting of the old roadway and the change in grade for the new ADA parking stall the City made a conscious decision to match the old and new pavement as best we could without doing substantial roadway removal and repaving and thus saving the City approximately $30,000 in construction costs. The City anticipates fixing this bump when Harborview Drive is repaved.
