HARBOR HISTORY MUSEUM -- A New Place in time on the Gig Harbor Waterfront. At the new Harbor History Museum you'll discover top-rate exhibitions, larger that life experiences, hands-on programs and picturesque views and walking trails.
DESTINY HARBOR TOURS -- Tour Gig Harbor, Port of Tacoma, Narrows, Galloping Gertie and experience the Puget Sound up close and personal. Sightseeing, Private Charters or Memorials.
DISCOVERY VILLAGE - Where kids go for fun! Discovery Village is filled with hands on museum exhibits including ADA compliant playground, classrooms, a healthy cafe and toy store. This 8000 square foot facility is open 6 days a week. Drop in classes and events include music, dance, art, tumbling and language. The indoor playground is a clever design with a Pacific Northwest theme, and includes a water play area and a sand play area.
GENTLE GIANT RANCH -- Gentle Giant Meadows Ranch sits on 40 beautiful acres on Key Peninsula. Farm visitors are always made welcome by Greg and Maureen who will happily introduce your family to our beautiful shire draft horses, Molly the milk cow and her calf Daisy Mae, Dolly the miniture cow, lambchop our pet lamb and very friendly sheep and goat families. Come on by!
GIG HARBOR BOATSHOP -- Preserve, Interpret, and Perpetuate Gig Harbor's Historic Working Waterfront is the mission of the Gig Harbor BoatShop. Support maritime traditions and visit the unique gift shop.
GIG HARBOR RENT A BOAT -- Be a skipper for a day and explore the Harbor and surrounding water ways. Power boat, speed boat, deck boat or kayak, the choice is yours.
BLUE WILLOW LAVENDER FARM -- Take a day trip out to the Key Peninsula and find Blue Willow Lavender Farm, just a hop, skip, and a jump across the Purdy Bridge. A 15 acre lavendar oasis with over 58 varieties, Blue Willow and the 1914 cottage Farm Store are looking forward to seeing you.
OLALLA VALLEY VINEYARD -- Olalla Valley Vineyard and Winery is situated on a promontory over looking Olalla Bay, Puget Sound and Vashon Island. The Vineyard consists of 8 acres of grape vines and berries. The Vineyard grows a variety of wine grapes and is open throughout the year for tastings and private groups.
TRILLIUM CREEK WINERY -- A short drive across the Purdy Bridge to the quaint town called Home, Trillium Creek Winery features an adorable tasting room set on beautiful 15 acres. Claude and Claudia Gahard have been making wine for over 28 years and they look foward to your visit.
7 SEAS BREWING -- Formed in 2008 by Travis Guterson and Mike Runion, 7 Seas Brewing is an innovative craft brewery, making audacious, yet technically well-executed beers; utilizing cans rather than bottles; and championing environmental stewardship. The Tap Room is now open, so stop by and have a pint overlooking the brewery. Cheers!
