One Harbor Point Development Agreement Has Been Received

The City has received a development agreement application for the One Harbor Point residential development at the intersection of Harborview and Soundview Drives in Gig Harbor, Washington.

The applicants are The Ben B. Cheney Foundation and Neil Walter Company.  The One Harbor Point residential development is comprised of three separate sites. These include the triangular-shaped upland parcel, the waterfront parcel currently developed with the Green Turtle Restaurant, and the Boat Barn parcel abutting it on the north.  35 rental townhouses are proposed for the upland parcel and three single-family dwellings are proposed for the waterfront parcel. 

The applicant proposes to donate the Boat Barn and its associated marina to the city as a public benefit pursuant to the requirements of the City’s development process and also asks for deviations in allowed uses, maximum density, maximum height, minimum setbacks, and other zoning, landscaping, and design requirements.
