The Building Code Advisory Board
BCAB holds open public hearings and makes final decisions on appeals of administrative determinations where alternate materials or methods of construction are proposed.
BCAB also makes final decision on interpretations of the adopted codes and makes recommendations to Building Director. This is a four-year position and is strictly voluntary. The Building Code Advisory Board meets twice annually or as necessary to hear appeals or make decisions on interpretations. Currently, there are no open positions.
