The eastern portion of the former Peninsula School District site has been  improved with athletic facilities including a tennis court, basketball court, and youth baseball/softball field.  The western portion of the site conserves the banks, wetlands, and other natural areas adjacent to Crescent Creek. This portion of the site has been improved with a playground structure, picnic tables, picnic shelter, restrooms, parking area, and a pump house building.
